This 48 year old mom came to see me to discuss her goals for smaller, more lifted breasts to complement her 5'8, 175lb figure.  At the time of her consultation, she was Mounjaro for weight loss and we discussed that she would need to discontinue the medication for a minimum of 3 weeks before surgery due to GLP-1 medications increasing the risk of aspiration while undergoing anesthesia.  We also discussed the post-operative weight loss and weight gain can impact surgical results.

She is seen here before and 12 weeks after an inferior pedicle breast reduction with a Wise pattern. 761 grams (1.68 lbs) of excess skin and tissue were removed from her left breast and an additional 888 grams (1.96 lbs) were removed for the right to improve breast symmetry and achieve her desired size and shape.
