Morpheus8 RF microneedling combines the skin rejuvenation power of microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten and lift skin on the face and body.
The Morpheus8 device is a handheld applicator that has 24 microneedles that penetrate the skin and deliver radiofrequency (RF) energy into the dermis. By penetrating to the deeper layers of the skin, Morpheus8 is able to heat the dermis, causing your body to generate new collagen. This in turn helps improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, scars, and even break up and remove unwanted pockets of fat on the face, jowls, neck, and body.
There are 2 handpieces, one for treating smaller areas on the face and neck, and one for treating larger areas and reaching deeper tissue layers on the body with varying depths of RF energy to customize your treatment to suit your needs. In order to make the procedure as painless as possible, we apply a topical anesthetic to numb the skin before the treatment. Once your skin is prepped and numb, the microneedling handpiece is applied to the treatment area, and the microneedles puncture the skin. During a Morpheus8 RF microneedling treatment, the RF energy penetrates the tissue, causing a warming sensation with some pressure and tingling. The handpiece is moved across the skin over the entire treatment area, one section at a time. After treatment, you can expect to experience some redness and swelling in the treated area, but it should resolve within 2-3 days. We recommend not wearing makeup for the first 24 hours after treatment.
For best results, we recommend a series of 3-4 SkinPen or Morpheus8 RF microneedling treatments spaced 1 month apart for best results. You will see final results several weeks after treatment as new collagen is created, lifting and tightening the skin.
