Unilateral Removal and replacement of left implant with Strattice™
                    Before & After
Case Details
This is a 67-year old patient who had multiple breast implant surgeries for multiple recurrent capsular contractures. Prior to having surgery with me, her most recent surgery had been approximately 3 years earlier by a surgeon who performed a capsulotomy, implant removal and exchange, and bilateral mastopexy. She came to me to address the grade 4 capsular contracture she had developed which was accompanied with pain and superior displacement of the left implant. To achieve her desired outcomes, I performed a left capsulectomy, removed and replaced her left implant and used Strattice™ Reconstructive Tissue Matrix which is a device designed to perform as a surgical mesh for soft tissue repair while presenting a scaffold to the patient. She is seen here before and 6 weeks after surgery.
