Breast Augmentation Case #46

This patient is a 39 year old woman from Northwest Houston who came to my Willowbrook office interested in having a breast augmentation. During her consultation, she explained how she was unsatisfied with her current A cups. We decided a small C cup would compliment her slim frame and opted to use silicone implants to provide the patient with a natural feel.

The surgery was performed at an outpatient surgical center in the Cy-Fair area and a periareolar incision was used. The patient had some natural asymmetry that was much more apparent when I placed her saline sizes. To adjust for the difference in the size of the breasts, I used a 325 cc high profile implant for the right breast and a 275 cc high profile implant for the left breast. The different sizes gave a more symmetrical look to the naked eye. The patient tolerated the procedure very well. By 6 weeks the patient was at full recovery and her areolar incisions have healed so well that they can hardly be seen.
