Aerolase Neo®

This safe, gentle, and versatile aesthetic laser selectively targets a combination of melanin, hemoglobin, and water in the skin without harming surrounding tissues. Its 650-microsecond pulse technology delivers light to the skin exceptionally quickly, allowing for a comfortable experience that typically doesn’t require any cooling gels or anesthetics.

The treatment works on all skin types and tones and can treat a variety of conditions, including:

• NeoClear by Aerolase® Acne Treatment: Light pulses destroy the p. acnes bacteria to clear active acne and stimulate collagen production to repair acne scars.
• NeoSkin by Aerolase® Melasma and Hyperpigmentation Treatment: Age spots, sunspots, melasma, and other pigmentation concerns can be reduced as light energy targets melanin in the skin.
• NeoSkin by Aerolase® Rosacea and Redness Treatment: The laser heats and disintegrates blood vessels just below the skin’s surface to reduce excessive redness or flushing.
• NeoSkin by Aerolase® Skin Rejuvenation and Tightening: Light energy stimulates the production of collagen, which helps firm the skin, eliminate veins and pigmented spots, and smooth wrinkles.
• Hair Removal: Targeted heat and light energy destroy selected hair follicles to stop or slow future growth on a long-lasting basis.
• Nail Fungus: Laser treatment of nail fungus requires powerful deep heating, which the NeoSkin delivers. The laser penetrates the nail bed to destroy existing fungal material.
• PFB (Pseudofolliculitis Barbae): Also known as ingrown hairs or razor bumps, these consist of inflamed hair follicles and surrounding hyperpigmentation. The NeoSkin’s quick light pulses target these concerns without overheating the area.
• Veins: The laser safely treats spider veins and blood vessels on the face and body, including large spider veins in the legs.

The specifics of the procedure and the number of treatmentsrequired will vary depending on the type and severity of the condition you’re looking to treat.

CO₂ Laser

Our fractional CO₂ laser, like the Fraxel laser, treats pinpoint areas of the skin leaving alternating areas untreated. Unlike Fraxel, it is an ablative laser, which means the surface of the skin is impacted. The CO₂ laser is excellent for treating:

• Deeper wrinkles and creases
• Brown spots such as freckles and sunspots
• Rough, uneven texture
• Moderate to severe acne scarring
• Scars from surgery and injury

These treatments do not address rosacea and other redness. Most patients require a single treatment for dramatic results; however, recovery is typically longer than that with Fraxel.

Fraxel®

These non-ablative fractional laser skin treatments, used on the face, neck, hands, arms, and other exposed skin, address many common concerns, which include:

• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Freckles, age spots, and other skin discoloration
• Scars from acne and chickenpox
• Uneven or rough texture

The Fraxel laser emits thousands of pinpoint beams of laser energy to increase collagen production and destroy imperfections within the skin without harming its surface. Because alternating pinpoints of skin are not treated, healing is quick and recovery time is minimal. To maximize your rejuvenation, we recommend a series of 3 to 5 treatments spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart.

MicroLaserPeel®

These superficial laser resurfacing treatments, safe for all skin types, are often used on the face, neck, chest, and hands. Treatments take just 15 to 30 minutes to address a variety of concerns, including:

• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Brown spots such as freckles and sunspots
• Superficial scars like those from acne and chickenpox
• Keratoses

Patients typically are ready to return to work within 3 to 4 days, depending on the depth of treatment.  A series of MicroLaserPeels is usually needed for optimal results, the number of which depends on individual concerns.
